"Thoughts"
Ever since the weather had drastically cooled down. I'd have to admit, I would most probably miss Japan by the time I leave.. I think it was because of Summer that had made me feel rather "aggressive" towards everything that life had to offer here. It's been said that this year's summer in Japan is the hottest since 30 years. Yet, Autumn is now here (I guess) the leaves had started changing it's colour, slowly.... Yet the Middays are still warm as ever... I can't wait till University starts up again... It's been such a long while since I had did anything quite productive.. I have been quite busy recently, helping out with Open Campus at University where I had to pretty much explain what it is like living in Australia to future Japanese students of Momoyama in Japanese... I have amazed myself from time to time... My Japanese improving slowly and steadily... I remember the first time arriving here in Japan, limited with words.. also only able to pick up at least 30% - 40% of what people are talking about... But now, I am able to express myself in Japanese, fluently... And my Japanese doesn't have any traces of any kind of foreigner sound, most people would say that I sound Japanese.. I have been mistaken a few times for being Japanese and apparently I do look like the people from Okinawa... and a few students would walk up to me and say "Your English is quite good" in Japanese.. and every time that happens, I feel good in a way...
Also, I have been quite busy teaching English from time to time... Trying to earn just a little bit to pay off my bills, and junk food since the currency exchange rate for Australian dollars is quite weak at most times.... Apart from that, I have been doing some volunteer work here and there to keep myself busy... New students have arrived and I have been taking them to University since at most times, the RA's are quite busy with other things... So I take them to Uni and show them around the place... Trying to fill up my time so I won't be as bored as much as when there was no one left here in the apartment, with the Summer heat....
